Fitness found me as a child. My first memories of fitness is watching my mother working out to Jane Kennedy's Love Your Body.
I remember going to "health clubs" (as they called them in the 80s) with my mom and always wanting to exercise with her.
Fast forward a few decades, and fitness finds me again as I struggle with my own health and fitness. In my mid 30s, I put on 20 more pounds than what I was used to. I immediately started doing cardio, kickboxing, and Insanity four times a week. I was eating, tuna, crackers, tilapia, and Michelina's frozen meals. Although it was extreme and very unhealthy, I lost all of the unwanted weight......... but I had no muscle tone. I found my strength, started lifting weights, and fell in love with the results. I decided there that I wanted to help other women find that same spark through personal training and content creation.
